Five-Day Book Fair Begins July 8

The Penguin Book Fair is returning to Delhi from July 8 to 12, bringing a large selection of Penguin titles, author sessions and special book deals to the city. The five-day event will be held at Pearay Lal Gandhi Memorial Hall in ITO and will remain open from 10am to 8pm each day.

Entry to the fair is free, allowing visitors to browse thousands of titles across fiction, non-fiction, classics, children’s books and bestselling releases.

Fill A Tote With Penguin Books

This year sees the return of the fair’s tote-fill concept. Rather than buying individual titles, one can purchase a Penguin tote and stuff it with as many original Penguin books as it can accommodate, provided it closes in a zip-locking fashion.

There will be three different totes available for purchase this year – the Lilliput tote for ₹1,500, the Hercules tote for ₹3,000 and the Goliath tote for ₹6,000. There is even an additional bonus inside the Goliath bag.

The concept aims at making the fair attractive for book lovers who are planning to start collecting books and even gift them to children and other genres.

Discounts, Bundles & Fair Only Deals

In addition to the tote offers, the Penguin Book Fair will also provide discounts and bundles on selected books at the fair. The fair will present a range of award-winning fiction, contemporary non-fiction, classics and best sellers from Penguin Books' catalogues.

This is also your chance to browse through the books at the fair and compare different editions that aren't usually recommended online.

Interactions Between Authors and Readers

Apart from book shopping, there will be opportunities for author interactions, readings and dialogues with the audience at the book fair. This provides readers an opportunity to listen to the authors themselves and, in some cases, have the books autographed by the author.

The schedule is expected to attract readers from all age groups and different interests including the regular book buyers, parents looking for children's books and new readers who are about to embark on the wonderful journey of reading.
